Tablet pool water test kits, especially preferred for private pools, offer reliable and practical results. This test kit is very easy to use and provides a cost-effective solution. 

The Lamotte Free Chlorine and pH DipCell Pool Water Test Kit allows you to measure Free Chlorine from 0.50 to 10 ppm and pH from 6.8 to 8.2 in pools or spas. 

The package includes 30 Free Chlorine test tablets and 30 pH test tablets. Usage instructions are included in the box.

How to Use the Tablet Pool Water Test Kit

Prepare the test chamber by rinsing it several times with pool water, shaking it up and down and side to side. Fill the chamber with pool water up to the marked lines on both sides of the tube. Take a tablet labeled "DPD1" from the foil and place it in the chlorine section of the test chamber. For the "pH" section, add one tablet labeled "phenol red." Avoid touching the tablets with your hands while removing them from the foil.

Securely close the caps of the test chamber and shake vigorously to mix. Compare the resulting colors with the color matches in the middle section of the test chamber to determine the measurements. This comparison will help you identify the chlorine level in ppm and the pH value. After completing the measurement, it is recommended to wash your hands thoroughly with water.
